The DR590-2CH is similar to the DR490-2CH in terms of specifications (Dual Full HD at 30FPS), its rear camera case design is more in line with other BlackVue products like the DR750S-2CH. The DR590-2CH also brings back the MP4 format with separate front and rear video files, which can be played by most video players (the DR490-2CH bundles the front and rear videos in a single AVI file which requires the BlackVue Viewer for rear camera video playback). Of note, the power consumption has been further reduced.
